Our Story
Unity in Action is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving seven counties in New York's Southern Tier and Broome, Tioga, Chemung, Schuyler, Tompkins, Steuben, and Chenango This region raised us, and it's part of our duty to pay it forward. We work with local organizations, government agencies, and businesses to close gaps in services, build skills, and create pathways to stability.
Our Mission
Unity in Action exists to close the access gap across New York's Southern Tier and Finger Lakes. We bring practical leadership development, mentorship, and capacity building to the people and organizations our region depends on.

We believe in investment, not temporary solutions. Unity in Action works alongside individuals and organizations to build greater capacity for long-term success. Our approach is practical, people-centered, and focused on sustainable community growth.
Why Unity in Action
Too many people with potential do not have access to the support, guidance, and resources needed to move forward. Unity in Action helps close that gap through education, leadership support, community partnerships, and opportunity-building programs.
